Leverage Information Systems has been involved with the E-Rate program since schools and libraries started receiving funding in 1998. The program was included as part of the Telecommunications Act of 1996 as a method of providing financial assistance to schools and libraries for the integration of new technologies. The criteria for aid is based in part on the national school lunch program in order to insure that organizations with the most need receive aid first. The E-Rate program is mandated by the FCC and is managed by the Schools and Libraries Division (SLD) of the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC).
Our Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) is 143032228. Contact our dedicated education account team to inquire more about E-Rate or for assistance with your network technology needs.
Our partnership with Cisco in education ranges from one room school districts to Stanford University where much of the technology that is used in today’s networks was created. In addition to our expertise in networking, we now focus on integrating advanced technologies that provide a better end user experience. These include Unified Communications, Wireless Infrastructure, Network Security and Video Surveillance.
There are many vendors that provide these technologies individually, but there are very few that can integrate them all and create a ubiquitous network where everything works together. This creates a single point of contact for our customers and it helps to establish Leverage as a go-to partner.
Our education sales team includes Territory Account Managers, Account Managers and dedicated Pre-Sales Engineers. Each team member is committed to providing state of the art solutions and excellent service to our education customers. These teams work with you from project inception, through design phases, as well as manage and track your orders. We have a dedicated Project Managers and Post Sales Engineers that work with you from the point of order through installation and training. With a professional services agreement, we can support and maintain our customer’s network environment long after the project is over.
